p.a.v.e. Speaker Series: Howard Burkons, “Catching and Pitching the True Story: Entrepreneurial Writing and Producing”

Howard Burkons has been a Producer and Writers Guild of America member for more than 20 years, having written, produced and executive produced television movies, comedy pilots, reality programming, documentaries and feature films. Credits include the award-winning television movie "The Ron Clark Story" starring Matthew Perry; "John Q" for New Line Cinema starring Denzel Washington; and "Highway Heartbreaker" for CBS. Burkons also has an extensive background in computer games and as a Blue Sky Creative Development Consultant for Electronic Arts, helped write and design titles that provided the wellspring for several of the biggest blockbusters in interactive history.
