School Partnerships

Faculty and students in the ASU Herberger Institute School of Theatre and Film partner with schools on numerous programs and projects throughout any given school year. These include facilitating co-curricular and extra-curricular arts activities for students, conducting in-service activities for teachers and touring theatre performances to schools. In addition each year, we select a school to host as guests on campus for lunch and a special matinee performance of a play for young audiences. For this event, we work with the teachers to provide classroom workshops that prepare the students for the theatre-going experience and integrate the theatre experience with their classroom curriculum.
