Partners in Learning

Faculty and students in the ASU Herberger Institute School of Theatre and Film partner with area schools on numerous programs and projects throughout any given school year. These include facilitating curricular and extra-curricular arts activities, conducting in-service events for teachers, and bringing live theatre performances to schools.

Each year, ASU School of Theatre and Film selects an area school to become a partner in learning about a MainStage Season play for young audiences. Here ASU Theatre for Youth students provide classroom workshops and study guides that help bring the play to life and prepare students for their upcoming theatre-going experience. The students then travel to the ASU Tempe campus for a special lunch and matinee performance.

We are now making these study guides available for all teachers to use as a resource in their own classrooms.
